Top 10 Netflix Christmas Movies

As soon as November 1st hits my family and I are in full Christmas spirit!

Which means the Christmas movies commence in my household. My family and I really enjoy having Christmas movie nights in front of the fireplace with some hot chocolate. Out of all the holidays Christmas is definitely one that we really enjoy as a family.

Here are my top ten Christmas movies on Netflix to watch this season.

1.The Nightmare Before Christmas

One thing for sure I need to have my Disney Christmas movies during the holiday. You can never go wrong with Tim Burton’s award winning musical. In this musical Jake the skeleton grows tired and bored of Halloween Town and wanders into the woods and ins some holiday trees. He ends up going into the tree and going to the Christmas doors. He finds himself in Christmas Town and plans to take Christmas under his control.

2. Four Christmases

This movie has to be one of the funniest movies for Christmas. The first time I watched it I literally peed my pants haha! Basically this movie is about a dating couple trying to avoid seeing their families for the Christmas holidays. But unfortunately it doesn’t work that way and they have to do 4 houses in one day. Also this is a PG13 movie.

3. How the Grinch stole Christmas

This Dr.Seuss tale has to be one of my favourite. My family and I really enjoy watching this movie every holidays. The Grinch hates Christmas and plots to steal Christmas away from the Who’s. But a little child named Cindy Lou Who tries to befriend the Grinch.

4. The Holiday Calendar

This is a very sweet movie about a struggling photographer who inherits her grandmothers advent calendar. The advent calendar seems to start predicting her future boyfriend. I loved the whole holiday romance vibe from it.

5. Office Christmas Party

Okay I definitely do not recommend having the kids to watch this movie at all lol but for us older folks this is a must to watch, it’s hilarious. Pretty much CEO tries to close her brother’s branch who is a crazy animal party and he must host an epic Christmas party an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale in order to save their jobs. As you can tell by the picture above things get crazy haha!

6. Elf

As soon as this movie came out I fell involve without it gives you the holiday feels and super hilarious, it’s also a kid friendly movie. The movie is about baby Buddy being an orphanage who stowed away in Santa’s sack and ended up in North Pole. He grew up and realized he didn’t fit in with any of the elves and finds out his a human. Santa allows him to go to New York to find his dad.

7. The Christmas Chronicles

My kids loved this movie which just came out on Netflix on November 22, 2018. Just like any other children they want to see Santa in real life and these siblings hatch a scheme to capture Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. When the plans don’t go their way, the kids join Santa and his loyal elves to save the holidays before it’s to late.

8. A Holiday Engagement

This one is a very good holiday chick flick. I doubtfully think the husbands will enjoy this movie. It’s a comedy about a woman who gets dumped by her fiancé right before heading back home for her families Thanksgiving dinner. She ends up hiring an actor to pose as her fiancé to avoid parental disapproval.

9. The Holiday

This movie I tend to watch every year and it always feel like I’m watching for the first time, I think it’s also a good chick flick. Sometimes during the Holiday some may feel depressed and that’s exactly how these two ladies felt in this movie. They end up switching houses where they end up meeting local lads for a romantic pick-me-up.

10. The Santa Clause

There’s so many Disney Holiday movies that I enjoy but this one made the top 10! First off I love this actor Tim Allen lol. His a divorced dad in this movie who accidentally kills Santa pretty much and ends up being transported to the North Place where his told he has to take Santa’s place before the next Christmas arrives.
