VDL x Belif Review

I love receiving Influenster mail, especially when it comes to beauty products/skin care.

This time around I received two different brands in one box! How exciting, also may I add these products are full size. VDL and Belif are both made in Korea.

VDL Lumilayer Primer:

The Lumilayer Primer is a emulsion-like texture that deeply moisturizes your skin and gives you an illuminating look. As you can tell in the picture above, it gives your skin a beautiful glow.

VDL Satin Veil Primer:

The Satin Veil Primer is a silky thick texture. It definitely leaves your skin feeling very soft and works very well under the foundation, giving you a matte finish.

You can find these VDL products at The Face Shop or Nature Collection.

They also just recently opened a VDL store in Toronto, Ontario.

I’ve been using the Toner and Moisturizer for about 2 weeks now and I can honestly say it has been leaving my face feeling like a babies bum, No Joke!

Belif is inspired by the 19th-century apothecary techniques, and they offer a unique range of products that follow Korea’s intricate skin care regimen.

The belif toner strengthens moisture barrier and soothes skin, it also has witch hazel and jasmine.

Ingredients percentage in the Toner:

  • 10% Ultra moisture control herb complex
  • 2% Emollient
  • Has Sodium hyaluronate

The belief moisturizer is rich in antioxidants, prevents dryness and leaves the skin luminous. It also has molokhia and witch hazel.

Ingredients percentage in the Moisturizer:

  • 11% Emollient
  • 74% Skin conditioning agent
  • 5% Skin protectant

Their products does not have any synthetic preservatives, synthetic fragrances, mineral oils, synthetic dyes, and animal ingredients. They are all dermatologically tested.

Belif products is available at The Face Shop, Nature Collection, and Fruits & Passion stores.

Final Look:

This is my final look with these 4 products, luckily I was on my way to a wedding.

  • First I used the toner right after I washed my face with my cleanser.
  • Then I mixed the Lumilayer Primer with the Belif Moisturizer.
  • I applied a small amount of Satin Veil Primer on my T-zone.
  • Lastly, I mixed a little bit of the Lumilayer Primer with my Fenty foundation.

Hope you enjoyed my review❤️

  4. thank you for sharing, I am not great at the all beauty products thing so I appreciate when someone else takes the time to try and test them and pass the tips on – makes decisions a lot easier

    • As for the scent I personally don’t find it strong, it’s a very faint smell and I personally think it smells good.
